Q - Are there any advantages of using PVC instead of wood to build a catapult?
A - Yes there are. The main advantages of using PVC to construct a catapult are the fact that it is a lightweight, lower cost material than wood. I would not recommend using PVC if you are planning on hurling larger, heavier objects with your catapult. PVC is better suited for catapults that fire smaller, lightweight objects such as tennis balls or water balloons.
